Are you providing services during Covid?
Yes! We are still providing DJ services!
Events may look a little different – fewer guests and more hand sanitizer. Our mission, however, hasn’t changed. Music By Design will help direct and facilitate all of your expectations in a professional manner, so you can have the event you’ve been dreaming of.
Are you offering Covid refunds?
No. With over 400 cancellations in 2020, a small business simply does not have operating cash flows to provide that many refunds. During Covid, all payments made for services are non-refundable. If you need to cancel/reschedule, your payment for services will stay on file as a credit for your future date; you will need to select a date that is not already fully booked.
If you’re no longer planning a wedding, you can use your payment towards our DJ, Photo Booth, or Photography services for any future event (a birthday, holiday party, anniversary, etc.) or you may transfer your credit to another couple.
What should we know about Covid rescheduling?
You will need to select a date that is not already fully booked. We cannot guarantee the same DJ will be available on your new event date.

Will you do weddings out of your service area during Covid?
No. If you need to switch venues, you will need to select a venue within our service area (Chicagoland).
