Andrew is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with his Bachelor’s in Live Sound Reinforcement. A passion for music and live sound led him to choose DJ/MC as a career path. Andrew started playing bass guitar in middle school and now enjoys creating electronic music and DJing weddings.
Previously Charlie was engrossed in the hockey atmosphere while graduating with honors in marine biology from Miami of Ohio. He followed his passion for animals by working as a veterinary technician, as well as partook in a photo expedition with National Geographic to Galapagos Islands before his discipline and competitive nature brought him back to sales. Charlie has a couple years experience working with a small company devoted to promoting their entertainment based merchandise. When Charlie is not building relationships with his clients, he spends time taking care of his three dogs. Charlie also enjoys staying active by participating in various adult hockey leagues as well as pursuing his purple belt in Jiu Jitsu.
While pursuing degrees in accounting and finance, David starting DJing at his college radio station. During the summer months, he started spinning in the Chicago club scene. It did not take him long to gain an appreciation for all types of music and a passion for DJing. After attending a friend’s wedding, David was struck by how cheesy and unprofessional the DJ handled the event.
As a lifelong lover of music and the arts, Elizabeth has been engaged in numerous creative activities as a theater participant, choir member, dancer, and musician. When she’s not behind the turntables or her piano, she can be found outdoors (gardening, hiking, or camping), playing with her cat, creating herbal remedies, cooking, baking, or brewing something delicious, reading, writing, studying various subject matter, daydreaming, or perhaps doing yoga.
Eric started producing music at the age of 15.
With a lot of encouragement from his father, Eric began mixing and producing music at the age of 15. He graduated from Southern Mississippi focusing on music and entertainment. When he is not pleasing guests at a wedding, Eric spends time mixing music, playing video games, and spending time with his family.
Passion for music has been a driving force in Eric’s life since childhood. After picking up the guitar in middle school, Eric went on to study classical guitar at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. While still in college Eric began experimenting with electronic music production and soon found himself writing music with bands. This interest in music and production quickly led Eric into the world of DJing where Eric could best share his love of music with others.
Jim has had a passion for music from a very early age. From the first time that he was introduced to bands such as KISS, Van Halen, the Beatles and REO Speedwagon by his older brother and Elvis Presley, Three Dog Night, George Strait and the Bee Gees and Abba from his parents, Jim was enamored! Music was in his blood! Throughout grade school and high school music had become his driving force and the soundtrack to his life. Jim began working at a music store selling records (yes, vinyl!), cassettes and CDs as well as VHS, DVDs and video games. It was around this time that Jim started DJing. Jim managed to double major at the University of Illinois earning a Bachelor’s degree in Photography and another Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. His passion for art and music has always remained with him as well as his desire to share the experience with others.
Music has been my passion since I was very young. Whenever I heard something on the radio, I remember always asking my parents “What’s this song?” for almost everything I heard! I began playing guitar and piano early in high school, and was constantly surrounded by music with friends and family. I obtained my Bachelor’s in Music Business and currently reside as a full time DJ. I always knew I wanted to work with music. I gained experience in the field through booking and managing local music performances, including my own band, and operating sound boards at many live shows. My time at the recording studio at the College of DuPage taught me more about sound equipment and how to effectively manage an artist’s valuable time.
After playing guitar in two bands in high school, Kevin decided to go to Columbia College of Chicago to study Audio Design and Production. Playing live music all throughout college, he learned about live music and how to keep an audience entertained and dancing. He has always had a love of all types of music and now gets to showcase his passion working as a DJ at Music By Design. In his free time, Kevin loves to record and edit music as well as audio for film and animation.
Enthusiasm for being in an atmosphere of music has been a theme traced throughout Noah’s whole life. Since childhood, Noah pursued his love for music performing piano and guitar. In high school he performed in Jazz and Concert bands, and wrote and performed original music with local musicians. He continues to pursue his passion for music by serving as a wedding DJ at Music By Design.
